Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone has confirmed in a blog post that Stardew Valley will be coming to iOS on 24 October.
The news comes hot on the heels of the recent multiplayer patch released for PC, with Barone keen to stress that this latest port is being handled by London studio, The Secret Police, and will not impact work being done for console multiplayer.
For £7.99 iOS players will be able to enjoy the full Stardew 1.3 experience, with a custom built touch UI, no micro-transactions, and the ability to port your PC saves back and forth between your devices (there are some caveats with that last point however, so make sure to backup your farms as mods are not supported).
It is assumed Android users will have to wait a little longer to get their fingers dirty, but further updates on that are imminent.
Elsewhere, Barone provided some much welcome news that the console multiplayer expansions of Stardew Valley are in the late stages – the Switch update has already gone into QA testing and PS4/XB1 will soon follow suit.
